Salò & surroundings
Salò is a pretty town on the western shore of Lake Garda, located inside the Park Alto Garda. His wonderful Gulf, the new promenade along the lake, the Navy perfectly equipped, the historical centre full of shops and boutiques, numerous events held during the season make it an ideal destination for an acting and stimulating holiday. Salò is rich in evidence of the past with its Dome dating back to ‘400, the palace of Magnifica Patria, the Museo Nastro Azzurro and magnificent Art Nouveau palaces, it is full of pubs and restaurants overlooking theLake making it one of the busiest and visited places.

There are many possibilities to discover the lake: visitors can choose between an active holiday and a relaxed lounging on its beaches. For sailors there are many competitions as the most known Centomiglia, for sport lovers there are many opportunities for walking on hilly paths, walking and cycling, for the wine connoisseurs food and wine tours to wineries of Valtenesi and the discovery of local products. The Valtenesi is also dotted with castles, large and small and is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards that give oil and wines, such Groppello, Chiaretto and Garda Classico, just to name a few.
